Here are some of the many summer mountain activities dedicated to families in Méribel:

  • All-terrain electric scooters

    EM Skate is offering a new activity this summer: E-Fatscoots. Half way between a mountain bike and a scooter, Fatscoots are fun and offer unique thrills. As they are easy to handle, they can be ridden by everyone.

    They are ideal for an outing with family or friends, which can be as gentle or sporty as you like! Enjoy eco-friendly excursions on these all-mountain electric scooters, which give you the sensation of gliding at speed (at up to 30km/hr) in complete safety.

    Discover this original activity in the unique landscapes in the heart of les 3 Vallées. You will be accompanied by instructors so you make rapid progress. With a choice of three different speeds, this activity is suitable for all.

  • Bike Park and electric mountain bikes

    The Bike Park offers 6 easy-access trails for electric mountain bikes (totalling 58 km) including 3 new ‘gentle’ routes. In addition, instructors from the MCF school offer the perfect outing to discover how electric bikes bring the mountain trails within your reach, in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere.

    This ride allows you to brush up your skills and learn how an electric bike works so that you feel confident. Afterwards, you may want to try longer or more technical outings to discover the Méribel valley’s iconic places.

    Children too young to ride an electric bike can use a standard bike with a ‘track’ system that allows them to be towed by an adult. This is a great way to enjoy family rides through the magical mountain landscapes.

  • Loads of activities for your children and teenagers!

    Your children and teenagers will have fun all summer while being looked after by enthusiastic professionals! Various activities and a range of packages are on offer for all tastes: Sportkids Méribel offers every type of sports activities for children from 8 to 16 years, with 3 specially designed packages: Kids, Juniors and Teens. The programme includes: mountain biking, kayaking, via ferrata, canyoning, climbing, archery, paint-ball, laser games, grass scooters, rafting and more.

    For children aged 3 to 8, there’s Les P’tits Loups childrens’ club and for those aged 18 months to 3 and a half years, there is a Nursery which takes care of everything.

    Our special children’s activity providers offer a chance to discover the mountains, a taste for sport, new experiences, thrills, friendships and plenty of great memories to take home.

  • Riding and pony trekking

    Explore the paths and tracks of les 3 Vallées on a surefooted mount and discover its marvellous and varied scenery.

    For beginners, the Coeur Équestre provides 30 minutes in the outdoor school so you can get to know your mount before you set off to enjoy an outing. Group or private lessons, 1 or 2 hour rides or 1 or 2 days with a night in a refuge, riding courses (6 – 12 years), pony rides for very young children, moonlit rides – everything is possible.

  • Adventure course in the middle of the forest

    With Méribel Aventure, you can enjoy 80 highline obstacles in the middle of the forest, in the heart of nature. Starting at le Bois d’Arbin, you will discover 5 forest courses with different obstacles and zip wires to test your agility, acrobatic skills, balance and nerve.

    Each course is more testing than the last; all have precise safety instructions, and are reserved for adults and accompanied children. A special course is offered for children aged 3 or above. Each course lasts around 30 minutes.

  • Petting farm and more

    The beautiful natural area of La Traye is a haven of peace. It is an ideal place to spend a day or more with the family, and can be reached on foot. Here, in the middle of alpine pastures with panoramic views, sit two very comfortable refuges, with a spa, archery ground and petting farm at le Refuge du la Traye.

    Equally captivating is le Clos Bernard in the heart of a spruce forest that feels like the wilds of Canada. Take a break here after a beautiful walk along the Animal Trail or an outing on an electric mountain bike. Here you can discover a restaurant and mini-farm and share unforgettable moments with your family.

  • Family session on the Via Ferrata

    A beginner session for children aged 9 or above on a climbing route equipped with ladders above a lake and a 57m wire bridge. This introductory route, suspended between the earth and sky, is suitable for all the family.

    A Via Ferrata is a fun way of experiencing the thrills of climbing without having to master all the techniques. You will make your way across rock faces equipped with ladders, cables and bridges.

    The lac de la Rosière Via Ferrata is the perfect route for beginners and it allows you to share this exceptional activity with your children.

  • Unique mountain walks and outings

    Explore the mountains with your family and see marmots, ibex and other wildlife, flowers and magnificent landscapes: Tuéda Nature Reserve, Lac des Fées, le Saut refuge, the Animal or Botanical Trails. Or for an original and magical outing, set out from Méribel and marvel at the sunset over the Vanoise Glaciers, Mont-Blanc, Grande Casse and the Méribel Valley …
