“Madame Vacances welcomes you to its flagship hotel, Le Mottaret***, where you’ll enjoy its chic ambiance and unbeatable location near the slopes, in the center of Méribel-Mottaret, right in the heart of the world’s largest ski area, Les Trois-Vallées.

Nestled at an altitude of 1,750 meters, the Méribel-Mottaret resort is a sure bet for snow, located higher up in the valley, just 10 minutes from the center of Méribel. The Hotel Le Mottaret is located to the right of the slope, next to the ESF (French Ski School), and right next to a ski rental shop. All the resort’s amenities are just a short walk away, as is the free shuttle that connects Méribel-Mottaret to the bustling heart of Méribel.

Since 2021, a new wellness area has been welcoming guests for a moment of relaxation after a day of skiing. It includes:

Rooms

The rooms at the Hôtel le Mottaret are clean and spacious; they overlook the Mottaret slopes, with Mont Vallon as a backdrop on one side, and Méribel and its valley on the other. To make your stay more comfortable, all rooms are equipped with a hair dryer, satellite TV, and a choice of foam or goose-down pillows. The family suites also include a refrigerator, as well as complimentary tea and coffee, a kettle, and a coffee maker.

The hotel has 15 new rooms, bringing the total to 77 rooms of various sizes.

The lounge bar is the heart of the hotel; sit back, relax, and enjoy your favorite drink while settled into a comfortable sofa in front of a cozy fire in the fireplace. Our in-house DJ sets the musical mood and will subtly choose the right beat to match the atmosphere. From the lounge bar, you can step out onto the upper terrace or down to the outdoor hot tub, where you can book a free session for your group—the perfect spot to unwind after a long day on the slopes. If you don’t want to get your hair wet, stay outside in the sun at the outdoor bar and admire the view of the summit of Saulire. Our Café del Mott is located on the lower terrace and offers dishes cooked on the barbecue; sitting in the sun, you can enjoy a hearty yet affordable meal, chosen from our menus designed for excellent value. Our DJ plays pleasant music that creates a warm and relaxed atmosphere.

Whether you’re a one-time visitor to Café del Mott or a regular if you’re staying at the hotel, you won’t truly know what the Mottaret experience is like until you’ve tried it. So come on by and treat yourself!

During their stay, guests at the Hôtel Le Mottaret can choose between breakfast-only, half-board, or full-board options. The full-board option has been specially designed for its value, offering all-you-can-eat food and drinks from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., including breakfast and brunch in the morning. Lunch is served on the terrace of Café del Mott or in the Savoyard-style dining room, with a choice of beef, chicken, or vegetarian burgers. On Sundays, a large buffet is served featuring a Sunday roast (roast meat with potatoes and vegetables). For All-Inclusive guests, it’s also possible to choose another partner restaurant in the Trois-Vallées for lunch—an ideal way to enjoy the ski area. Dinner is the main attraction, featuring an all-you-can-eat five-course buffet of French and international cuisine, selected and presented by the chef and his team.”
