Our teams have been working hard and imaginatively for months to put together a summer programme to suit your every whim.

So put on your sunglasses, put on your sunny smiles and join us for moments of pure happiness in the heart of the 3 Vallées!

17 June: opening of the Col de la Loze

Saddle up, keen cyclists! Méribel invites you to enjoy a unique experience by conquering the Col de la Loze, a legendary Alpine pass. Departure is at 10.30am from the Tourist Office square in the centre.

Get ready for a 7km sporting challenge, offering incredible views of Mont Blanc and the Méribel valley. Whether you’re an experienced cyclist or prefer to use an electric bike, this experience is accessible to all.

As an added bonus, the presence of renowned champion Thomas Voeckler will add a special touch to this exceptional day.

From 08 to 19 July: the E-Bike Experience

For 15 days, from 08 to 19 July, discover a fortnight dedicated to mountain biking with the E-Bike Experience. This is the must-attend event for all two-wheeled enthusiasts.

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced rider, young or old, the E-bike Experience offers a variety of exciting activities to suit all levels and tastes.

Take part in outings supervised by mountain bike experts who will show you the most beautiful trails in Méribel. Try out the latest models of electrically assisted mountain bikes (VTTAE) for a unique riding experience. Take part in draisienne competitions where younger riders can show off their talents.

Don’t miss the freestyle shows, which will leave you speechless with their impressive acrobatic figures. And for children, there are special introductory sessions where they can discover the joys of mountain biking in complete safety.

Whether you’re a downhill, cross-country or freestyle enthusiast, the E-bike Experience is sure to delight you with a programme packed with activities and thrills. Take advantage of the expertise of the professionals on site to improve your technique, discover new routes and push back your limits.

Focus on Enduro 2

Get ready for an epic mountain biking event in Méribel on 8, 9 and 10 July: the Challenge VTT – Enduro 2! Every summer, this international mountain bike and ATV race in teams of 2 marks the start of the mountain bike season in the resort.

On the Enduro 2 programme: 15 timed stages, 10,000 m of downhill and 1,200 m of uphill. Fun and friendship are the watchwords of this unique event in Méribel. Come and enjoy the friendly atmosphere that reigns in the resort and discover the different bike brands that will be offering tests on the Chaudanne plateau.

14 July: bank holidays in the village of Les Allues

Get ready for a wonderful evening in Les Allues to celebrate Bastille Day on 14 July! Join us at 10.30pm for a breathtaking fireworks display from Le Villaret. Whether you’re in the surrounding villages or in the valley, you’ll be able to admire this spectacular light show.

The village of Les Allues will be abuzz with activity for the occasion. Restaurants will be on hand to treat you to a delicious meal, and the terraces will be extended to allow you to take full advantage of the festive atmosphere. Come and share some convivial moments with locals and visitors alike, in a warm and joyful atmosphere.

19 July: Tour de France passes through

The Tour de France 2023 has a major challenge in store for the riders on the 17th stage from Saint-Gervais to Courchevel in Savoie. On a route with 68 kilometres of positive gradient, they will have to tackle four emblematic cols.

The Col des Saisies will be the first challenge, followed by the Cormet de Roselend, a magnificent but formidable 19.9km climb. After a descent to Bourg Saint Maurice, the riders will still have to face the formidable Côte de Longuefroy.

The Col de la Loze, with its 28-kilometre climb through Méribel, marks a frightening return. Finally, the riders will take the new tarmac track down to Courchevel, with a very steep final kilometre to reach the Altiport.

At the top of the Rhodos, spectators will be able to take advantage of the HCMP (hockey club) refreshment area to refresh themselves and support the riders during this epic stage of the Tour de France.

This stage promises spectacular scenery and intense sporting challenges, so don’t miss this opportunity to experience the excitement of the Tour de France in Méribel and support the riders in their quest for victory.

From 20 to 30 July: Meribel in the sky

Kites, astronomy and planetarium are on the programme

Méribel’s second themed fortnight will be all about the sky and celestial exploration. For a fortnight, young and old alike will have the opportunity to become sky explorers and delve into the mysteries of the universe during a series of free events.

The programme will be varied and captivating: strolls under the stars in the Plan de Tueda nature reserve or in Méribel’s various ‘star spots’, planetary walks and conferences to learn more about asteroids and the cosmos.

There will also be a range of creative workshops, including rocket-making, and astral games. Holidaymakers will also be able to look at the stars through a telescope and enjoy aerial shows during the day and evening, including artistic kites flown by the world champion kite fighter.

From 31 July to 13 August: art and tradition

Immerse yourself in a captivating artistic universe and let yourself be carried away by two weeks of events full of creativity and wonder in the Méribel valley.

This event celebrates art in all its forms, offering visitors a unique experience to enjoy the mountains in a different way.

The programme includes a host of creative activities, shows, exhibitions, circuses, games and much more. In the morning, magic lovers can take part in enchanted workshops. Gourmets can sample local wines and cheeses at special events with Agri Savoie.

Let your creativity run riot at the drawing workshops, and immerse yourself in the authentic world of the Fête à Fanfoué on 5 and 6 August. You can even learn to make your own divining rod at a unique workshop, followed by a walk and a convivial barbecue.

August 9 marks the start of the street circus festival, where you can learn about the circus arts and enjoy live performances. Don’t miss the show put on by Compagnie Danka, which combine dance and music.

On 10 August, try your hand at slacklining, then enjoy the aerial show put on by Compagnie Avis Bidon. On 11 August, continue the adventure with another slackline initiation, followed by a show by the Compagnie du Petit Monsieur.

As a bonus, attend a talk by Lucas Giovanni Moreira on highline, and finish the day in style with a juggling solo.

12 and 13 August: Méribel Trail

Let yourself be carried away by the wild and aerial world of the Méribel Trail, a must-do experience of the summer season. Nestling in the heart of the Vanoise massif and the 3 Vallées ski area, this mountainous and technical course offers breathtaking panoramas at an altitude of almost 2,800 metres.

Whether you’re a trail enthusiast looking for a challenge or a seasoned trail runner preparing for the big events to come, the Méribel Trail promises an extraordinary adventure. From the vertical kilometre to the various trail distances, there’s something for everyone, including young runners with the Mérib’kids.

14 to 27 August: Summer Zen Altitude

Ready to escape and recharge your batteries at altitude? Méribel invites you to take a plunge into a last fortnight of summer dedicated to well-being with Zen Altitude. For a fortnight, indulge in a host of soothing and revitalising activities.

From pilates to meditation to land art, explore different practices to reconnect with your body and mind. Treat yourself to moments of total relaxation and enjoy the glorious Méribel sunshine.

And why not spice up your stay by trying out the vélo-smoothie, a gourmet and energising experience? There are also raw and plant-based cooking workshops to help you treat your taste buds while preserving your vitality.

As an added bonus, interactive lectures and inspiring screenings will open up new horizons for you.

In the majestic setting of Méribel, let yourself be carried away by the gentle pace of life and free yourself from stress. Make the most of every moment to cultivate your well-being, in harmony with the surrounding nature.

From 18 to 22 August: the Méribel Pro-Am

Succumb to the call of an exceptional golfing adventure in the enchanting setting of the Méribel golf course, considered to be one of the most beautiful in the Alps.

Set against a backdrop of breathtaking scenery, each shot will be a symphony between technique and the natural beauty of Méribel.

As you can see, Méribel is packed with summer activities to brighten up your stay.

In addition to the events already mentioned, you’ll be able to enjoy some unique moments during the Col de la Loze breakaway on 19 and 20 August, in the presence of our ambassador Thomas Voeckler.

Immerse yourself in a bit of culture at the special evenings organised on 20 and 31 July from 6pm, and let yourself be transported by the magic of the cinema at the free screenings on 17 July, 16 August and 23 August from 6pm.

For music lovers, there will be concerts throughout the summer, showcasing a truly talented local music scene.
