What is the Méribel Label ?

A guarantee of quality.

In order to promote the resort’s chalet atmosphere, in 2005 the Méribel Tourist Office created an independent label that guarantees the quality of accommodation in the valley.

A true mark of quality, the Méribel Label is a distinction that celebrates and preserves the authenticity of the resort’s Alpine architecture. It guarantees that certified accommodation meets strict criteria for comfort, aesthetics and atmosphere, offering a cosy and warm mountain atmosphere.

It takes into account the quality of wall, floor and ceiling coverings; the use of high-quality materials; the harmony of furniture, textiles and lighting; and the modernity of facilities.

💡 The certification is valid for five years and is renewable.

In Méribel, many apartments and chalets benefit from this official classification, based on specific criteria such as surface area, number of rooms and facilities.

The classification indicates to customers the level of quality and comfort of the property on a scale of 1 to 5.

Exemption from the municipal portion of the CFE (business property tax), i.e. 85% of the total amount
