Festival Jazz Variations : Les Doigts de l’homme (Club Tour), back to the roots of gypsy jazz-swing

This year, Méribel presents a brand new program for the Jazz Festival.

The aim of the Festival is to give you the chance to discover or re-discover jazz in its different forms, with concerts adapted to a seated audience.

Since 2003, the year they released their first album, Les Doigts L’Homme have never stopped reinventing themselves, questioning their aesthetic and artistic direction with each new album… The Manouche style they started out with is now evolving towards acoustic and electric jazz with a more modern feel. Les Doigts de L’Homme are celebrating their 20th anniversary. To mark the occasion, they are releasing an ambitious double album that illustrates the path they have travelled over the years with an even more original and personal approach.

From acoustic to electric, 23 tracks of creative, “guitaristic”, colorful and demanding jazz. And in keeping with tradition: with each new album, a new guest instrument! Drummer Pierre Rettien joins the team to illustrate this transition to electric.
