The Méribel ski area opens its slopes on 6 December!
2026 is nearly upon us...
In Méribel, 2025 was a year rich in emotions and events, leaving behind memories that we cherish. So, to end the year on a high note, discover a programme of events that is as varied as it is exciting! Everything you need to make the last days of 2025 truly memorable!
From 21 to 25 December 2025, discover the magical atmosphere of Christmas in Méribel!
The festivities will begin on 21 December with Christmas carols performed by Mademoiselle Faustine. A fabulous singer with retro-jazz influences, she will entertain you from 6.30 pm to 7.15 pm. Get ready to sing, dance and let yourself be carried away by a festive, elegant and decidedly rock “n” roll concert, in a glamorous atmosphere worthy of the golden years.
📍 From 6.30 to 7.15pm – Place Maurice Front – Méribel Centre
The celebrations will continue on 22 December from 1 p.m. with the Christmas Diamonds parade. For 45 minutes, this troupe of sparkling singers will enchant the streets with the rhythm of the greatest Christmas classics. A wave of good cheer will warm hearts on this festive eve. You can then find them again in Méribel Centre from 4.30pm to 5.15pm.

From 4pm to 4.45pm, the Spicy Men will get the streets of Méribel dancing to the sound of New Orleans jazz! Meet these four musicians first at the Mottaret shopping area, then from 6.30pm to 7.15pm at the Carrousel in Méribel Centre. Let yourself be carried away on an energetic musical journey, revisiting the great classics of Louis Armstrong, Sidney Bechet and many others.

This fun-filled day on 22 December will end with the show ‘Le Noël Magique’ (The Magical Christmas) from 6pm to 7.30pm at the Méribel Centre Auditorium. Follow Wendy, a mischievous heroine, on an adventure to recover her memory and her powers! She will take you on an epic journey to the North Pole, filled with fascinating encounters and fantastical creatures. With enchanting costumes, songs, acrobatics and interactive moments, this show is a real invitation to dream as a family.

The festivities continue on Christmas Eve! From 1p.m, join the brass band ‘Les Ptits Loups’ for a musical retelling of the tale of Little Red Riding Hood. Be swept away by this festive and colourful parade, where little girls wearing hoods and wolves share a beautiful friendship. Here, there are no winners or losers: everyone has their place. A powerful, joyful and uplifting message: what matters is being together!

From 4.30 to 5.15pm – Méribel Centre
An enchanting show awaits you at the end of the day. From 6pm to 7.15pm, come and discover Philippe and Olivia Candeloro’s latest ice show: La Fille du Marchand de Sable (The Sandman’s Daughter). This modern fairy tale takes you into the world of dreams and Father Christmas, combining figure skating, dance and visual staging. La Fille du Marchand de Sable sur Glace is a 75-minute show, suitable for all audiences, from the youngest to the oldest.

Father Christmas himself will be waiting to see you on 24 December! From 5.30pm to 6.15pm, meet him as he arrives by horse-drawn carriage in Méribel Centre. Pulled by his reindeer Gustave, he will be accompanied by his elves: the mischievous Elfyzarines.

In Mottaret, Father Christmas will be surrounded by Bulles de Bonheur, enchanting and magical stilt walkers. With its blend of light and music, this illuminations parade will delight young and old alike before Christmas Eve.

BONA NÈVE! (Merry Christmas in Savoyard)
Come and say goodbye to Father Christmas, who will be waiting for you at the Chaudanne snow front. His departure will be followed by a torchlight descent and fireworks. What a wonderful way to wish him a happy return and say: see you next year!

Snowballs on New Year’s Day, and Happy New Year, to one and all! ❄️
What with the 30 parties organised by your friends, the desperate search for a meal that will please everyone, and the tensions surrounding the evening’s playlist, New Year’s Eve often turns into a real organisational minefield.
The solution? Celebrate New Year’s Eve in Méribel! Here, we’ll prepare a New Year’s Eve celebration with great care.
Because our ski instructors love to race down the slopes with torches, don’t miss the famous torchlight descents of our favourites at the Mottaret snow front from 6.30 pm!
Fireworks will be set off at 6 p.m. from the Méribel Village car park, the Stade de Corbey in La Chaudanne and the Stade de l’Aigle in Mottaret, followed by a second display at midnight in La Chaudanne.
From 10.30pm to 1.30am – An open-air nightclub!
To celebrate the New Year, La Folie Douce invites you to a spectacular show! It will be followed at 12:15 a.m. by a DJ playing electro, house and melodic techno mixes. A countdown and fireworks display will take place at midnight to welcome in 2026.

💡PSST ! A new year means new resolutions! To start 2026 off right by taking care of our environment, we invite the most valiant partygoers to lend a hand to the organisers by picking up any rubbish left on the snow front after the festivities.
