Méribel SUMMIT PLAYGROUND
Live the enhanced experience in summer in the heart of the 3 Vallees.
In summer, the lifts are an excellent way of discovering and enjoying all the mountains have to offer. They run 7 days a week throughout the summer period. Various ticket options exist, depending on your activity and required duration, and they give access to les 3 Vallées lifts. As a walker or a mountain biker, you can easily get up high and reach the main peaks, from which you can access numerous activities.
Thanks to the ski lifts, increase your experiences on a playground without limits!
Lifts are an eco-friendly means of transport which allow everybody, regardless of age and fitness, to go on walks with friends or family and even with young children. You can enjoy exceptional panoramic views over the Méribel valley and les 3 Vallées; over the Vanoise glaciers (which form the largest dome glacier in Europe); the impressive Gebroulaz glacier (main source of the Doron river which runs through the Méribel valley before joining the Isère); the astonishing Grande Casse (the highest peak in the Vanoise), and the entire Mont-Blanc chain of mountains and many other Alpine peaks and ranges.
The lifts also offer a chance to visit les 3 Vallées and their peaks and villages in a fun and original way. All our lift pass options give you access to the open lifts in les 3 Vallées. The lifts are well linked and require little walking between them (a few minutes at most). They are also a great way to reach a memorable picnic spot, or a gastronomic meal in one of the many restaurants, or to discover the local heritage, see an exhibition or even go on a shopping trip.
You can also take advantage of the lifts when you plan your full-day or half-day walks. Take one or more lifts, either up or down, which link with the many paths open to walkers.
Tackle the Dent de Burgin Via Ferrata, at 2,700m, the highest in Europe, or dare to take a paraglider flight from la Saulire. You can access this peak via the Pas du Lac gondola lift from Méribel-Mottaret. Professional guides and pilots are available to accompany you. You are guaranteed an adrenaline rush!
For one-off walks, you can obtain a ticket for one or two lift stages (the downhill ride is always included). Tickets for these rides must be bought in the same resort and from the appropriate sales point (in Méribel for lifts starting in Méribel and in Mottaret for those starting there). To enjoy longer or unlimited use of the lifts, opt for a one-day pass, a week pass (7 days) or even a summer season pass. Prices are reduced for children aged 5 to 12 years, and it is free for children under 5. Groups of 3 people or more benefit from a reduced one-week price.
The mountains offer the ideal undulating terrain for MTB in all its forms. In les 3 Vallées, the lifts are perfectly linked to the downhill MTB trails and enduro routes. They form a particularly vast and varied mountain bike park for these sensational sports. More than 25 downhill trails and 19 enduro routes are perfectly marked out and maintained. Several MTB sport shops/rental shop and MTB schools are here to help you in every way.
There are 5 options to suit the frequency and duration of your outings, and 3 prices for different age groups (adult or reduced prices for children aged 5 – 12) and the size of your group (price reduction for 3 people or more).
The 3-hour pass starts when you take your first lift. Opt for a 1-day pass to make full use of the mountains without having to watch the time. With a Liberté 3-day pass, you choose the days (even non-consecutive ones) from a 7 day period. This is ideal for occasional use and for choosing your outings according to weather conditions. Frequent users should opt for the week pass (7 days) or even a summer season pass.
