Do you love wide open spaces and challenges that make your heart-race? If so, la Combe du Vallon is your ideal playground!
This challenging red run isn’t just for cruising downhill, it takes you on a technical descent with steep walls and sharp turns. From the summit of Mont Vallon, the highest skiing point in the Méribel valley, you set off on a spectacular descent. The run winds its way down for several kilometres. You glide through a natural setting of forests and rocks with breath-taking panoramic views. The surrounding glaciers can be seen in the distance, while the ski area stretches out before your eyes. And when the piste ends, the adventure continues: other slopes take you all the way down to Méribel Centre, prolonging the experience and thrills. This is a slope for skiers looking for a challenge!
Access via the Mures Rouge chairlift Plattières gondola, then the Mont Vallon gondola lift.
Are you looking for a heart-pounding thrill that will take your breath away? La Face and Le Couloir Tournier are the places for you!
The Face starts off strong. This challenging black run, with two impressive walls right at the start, was originally a competition run that hosted the 1992 Albertville Winter Olympics. Each turn requires precision and technique, but the reward is a 360° panorama and a glacial atmosphere. Lower down, the scenery changes: the contrast of pine forests and narrow passages offers variety and increases your enjoyment. And for the undaunted, you can continue on down the Gélinotte, for a vertical drop of more than 2,000 metres.
The Couloir Tournier at the top of La Saulire is reserved for extreme thrill seekers. A steep slope, technical terrain and an intimidating start: every moment on this run is a challenge. Skiing here is a rush of pure adrenaline: control and speed merge into a unique experience.
For those who love intense, challenging and spectacular skiing, these slopes will be your playground.
NB: depending on snow conditions, the Couloir Tournier may be closed if there is a risk of avalanches.
Access via the Olympic chairlift for La Face and via the Saulire Express 1 and 2 gondola lifts for Couloir Tournier.
If your technique is improving and you enjoy new sensations, then Mauduit is the piste for you!
This legendary red run, named after alpine skier Georges Mauduit, combines technical challenges and pleasure. Wide at the top, it narrows as it enters the forest, offering varied and intense passages. With a vertical drop of over 1,000 metres, it has large, winding curves and invites you to really feel every turn. This physically and mentally challenging descent leads from the summit all the way down to the heart of Méribel.
Access via the Saulire Express 1 and 2 gondolas.
Have you just discovered the joys of skiing and want to push yourself a little further? Then the Faon slope will be your friend!
This wide and reassuring blue run allows you to work on your turns while exploring a slightly steeper slope. Here, there is enough space for you to progress safely at your own pace. The scenery is not to be outdone: magnificent panoramas make every descent a confidence-boosting pleasure. On the Faon slope, every turn is a mini victory!
Access via the Tougnète 1 gondola and Tougnète 2 chairlift.

Do you like to take your time and enjoy soaking up the Alpine landscape? Then you’ll love the Lapin run!
This fairly gentle blue run drops through the trees and offers you a calm and pleasant descent to Méribel Village. With few people on it, you can enjoy stress-free skiing while working on your stance and technique on a wide, confidence-inspiring slope. As you descend, the ski area unfolds before your eyes, allowing you the pleasure of contemplating nature at every turn.
The Lapin slope is perfect for those who like to marvel at the scenery rather than speeding around.
Access via the Golf or Morel chairlifts or the Rhodos gondola lift.
Do you want to share your children’s first skiing experiences? The Piste des Animaux is the ideal playground for the whole family!

All along the way, the life-size model animals will spark children’s curiosity, making every turn a chance to discover the 3 Vallées wildlife. Also accessible to walkers via a path running alongside the ski run, this is an unmissable trail where all ages can have fun together. This entertaining and educational piste is perfect for making first turns and is guaranteed to delight children.
