Only 1% of the 3 Vallées runs are reserved for the World Championships

Being located in the heart of the largest ski area in the world, Méribel is perfectly placed to host one of the world’s biggest ski events. However, the competing athletes will only be skiing on a very small part of the 3 Valleys ski area as only 5 slopes will be reserved for the World Championships:

  • the Eclipse and the Granges in Courchevel ;
  • the Roc de Fer, Choucas and Éterlou in Méribel.
  • This represents only 4% of Méribel’s slopes.

The 2 ski lifts used in Méribel for the Championships will be shared between the competitors and will remain open for the usual customers. As a bonus, 2 skiers tunnels have been built to pass under the competition slopes and keep the continuity of the ski areas, of both Courchevel and in Méribel.

Shuttle buses and ski lockers to make your life easier

Shuttles will be set up especially for the event. They will allow you to reach the vibrant heart of the World Championships without hassle! On the day of the events, whether you want to go to la Chaudanne from other areas of Méribel or between Courchevel le Praz and Méribel-Centre, make your life easier by taking the shuttles provided for the spectators.

But you can also reach Méribel la Chaudanne by ski and leave your equipment in the ski lockers to enjoy the competition more serenely. In Méribel la Chaudanne, ski lockers will be available under the Saulire Express cable car.
