When do the ski resorts in the Alps open? Opening dates for Méribel!

The opening dates for ski resorts in the Alps in 2025 vary, with most opening between late November and mid-December.
In Méribel, the slopes are scheduled to open on Saturday 6 December 2025, marking the official start of the winter season.
The lifts of the Méribel ski area will close on Friday 17 April 2026.Skiers and boarders will therefore be able to enjoy winter sports to the full throughout this period in the largest ski area in the Alps.
