Paragliding

Fly over Méribel and 3 Vallées on a two-seater paraglide in the company of pilots boasting 20 years experience. An unbeatable viewpoint and unique experience!

Set off from Tougnète in the morning or dent de Burgin in the afternoon, set set to reach an altitude of 1 ,00 metres in less than 20 minutes of flight time. The morning flight is at a lower altitude than the afternoon flight and allows you to see animals such as chamois and does. The aftenoon flight is more sporty, with a maximum speed whch can reach 45 km/h, owing to stronger air currents. You may even be lucky enough to fly with a golden eagle as they rely on the same currents as flyers. You may even glimpse the vultures coming from Maurienne.

These two flights will provide a stunning 360° view of Mont-Blanc, the 3 Vallées even as far as Moutiers dependent on the flight altitude. All at a comfortable cruising speed of 35 km/h. A premium course is offered to customers who have already completed the other two courses and are looking for a new experience, in the direction of Bozel. This course lasts longer (approximately an hour) and takes place at a higher altitude. It is therefore aimed at a well-informed public.

Paragliding is recommended for those who weight at least 30 kg (for optimal installation), from 7 years of age. There is no maximum age limit, as dependent on wind conditions, there is little need for running for take-off. The landing is completely managed by the pilot, you simply have to lift your legs to land on an airbag.

We recommend you wear warm clothing, except where it is very hot in which case a jumper and windbreaker are adequate, and that you wear correct footwear (mountain boots or trainers). Avoid wearing shorts and Bermuda shorts owing to drafts. A helmet will be provided once at the top. It can be worn with sunglasses and prescription glasses. You can use your camera to take photos whilst mid-flight.

The activity is available in July and August. The activity may be cancelled in the case where wind conditions are too weak or too strong and in the event of a storm.
