Supported by the municipality, this national label qualifies the welcome and services provided to families and children. As such, Méribel is mobilizing to make the stay of young and old even more pleasant and undertakes to respect the following 6 points:

  • A personalized welcome in accommodation and restaurants
  • Activities and entertainment for all ages
  • From the smallest to the largest: smart prices
  • Children pampered by our professionals
  • Discovery of the environment and heritage
  • Convenient: all shops and services close at hand

Meribel, at the heart of the family

Accommodation, restaurants, activities, entertainment and adapted prices, seasoned professionals: this national label testifies to Méribel’s ability to mobilize and invest in the development of children as well as the comfort and happiness of parents. So, you can always imagine stays in your corner and everyone for themselves. But when everything is planned to experience great emotions as a family, why deprive yourself of it. And if the children sometimes want to take some distance to go on an adventure without their parents, then let them taste this perfume of freedom as the mountain knows how to offer them. The four golden rules for family fun in winter and summer :

Laugh

The Olympic Park opens its ice rink and swimming pool to everyone. The ‘pluses’: paddling pool with water games, free educational material for better skating, themed evenings, introduction to hockey, broomball, ice-games and remote-controlled car races. Its outdoor terrace allows you to enjoy sunbathing and other activities such as badminton or table tennis. At bowling, we happily break the skittles and this has always been an opportunity for challenges among ourselves and great laughs among all. The 6 tracks of the Olympic Park are no exception. Parents can always come back alone for some crazy Choc or Neige evenings. Other games, such as billiards, video games or table football can liven up the evenings of all the members of the family.

Explore

A mystery must be solved in the Plan de Tuéda nature reserve! Only nature knows the answers, but your laptop will be of great help. Measure up

To ski on the nuggets of the 3 Valleys, the Bureau des Guides de Méribel offers a whole day to ski down the best off-piste in this largest connected area in the world. Age required, +12 years old and/or black piste level. The Prosneige ski school offers family participation in the Olympic Games in the form of challenges: snowshoe trail (but blind), laser rifle shooting, slalom with different machines, rescue workshop, etc., and even a tasting local products again blind! To escape

By following in the footsteps of a prey through the forest, torch in hand and snowshoes on their feet, your children become trappers of the Far North. Fortunately, at the end of the quest in the middle of the snow, the whole family enjoyed a good fondue in an igloo. Sport, nature and discovery, yes, it’s beautiful. But is that enough for children? In the Altiport forest, we put on snowshoes and we can’t wait to taste the chocolate fondue that awaits the family. At the Méribel Mottaret cinema, the screening of animated films is followed by a snack. Thursdays during school holidays.
